What you’ll gain
New members learning to trade stocks need to attend live trading events as part of their education process. Upon completion, they will then be able to actively participate in the live trading room with more experienced traders. Each event will help bolster your toolbox for planning moves. By the time you complete your education you will have added the following essential skills to your arsenal:
- Technical Analysis: You will be able to make use of technical analysis indicators like MACD and Stochastic Oscillators to time entries and exits.
- Assessing Volume Patterns: Examining trends in volume candles to assess market movements. These will help you decipher whether a rally is based off of short covering or market buying.
- Spotting breakouts: Learn to spot breakouts and surprise stock rallies. Mastering this skill will get you the best entries and likely help score your most profitable trades.
- Option Chain Analysis: Learn the meaning of Put/Call Ratio and how to examine the option chain to maximize your profitablity from a stock's movement.
- Using Moving Averages: Make use of the simple moving average to help time your exits before a trade changes direction.
- Drawing Trendlines: Create trendlines for your chart analysis to examine "channels" that a stock's price will travel between. These will help you assess a stock's trading range between breakouts, areas of resistance and areas of support.
